Description

No man's heart
is an uncrossable forest.

I'm lured in when it whispers,
a shadow lying about its hollow,
pretending to be shallow.

I lose tracks on overlapping paths
and hindered by earthly desires
I quench my thirst with its fires.

Bittersweet wild berries,
aren't they deadly?


I made this painting for someone's birthday. I haven't found a good title for it, feel free to suggest one if you feel inspired.
