I don't have time anymore for my DA page so I won't be around for the next months. I don't know if I'll continue to upload drawings here but I'll certainly keep drawing. Thanks everyone for all the favs, your appreciations and comments mean a lot

Bonjour! As you can see I just got back from france. I've never thought I'd miss romania so much since I haven't been away such a long time, plus I don't like it here that much. Paris was a great place to visit but I don't think I could ever live there. People and lifestyle are so different from what I'm used to.
Here are a few (ignorant) good and bad impressions:
* The good: The architecture looks great, the building have ornaments, caryatids and there are statues at almost every corner of the street. It's a capital of art/ The bad: The subway looks and smells like a sewer, a labyrinth sewer actually and I've had a really tough time getting the train tickets
* There are a lot of places to visit, Louvre's absolutely amazing - I've spent 2 days in its galleries and I still haven't seen everything / There's no bad part about the museums, you've just gotta see it if you get there *art enthusiastic* Oh yea, there's a bad part, La Gioconda was put to far away to be seen or photographed and it's a lot smaller than I've thought it would be lol
* All Parisians are somewhere between thin and skinny although I saw them eat all the time - this is a good and a bad part at the same time... bad for the visitors like me ofc Which leads me to my next point:
* There's at least a restaurant in each building, I get the feeling that only poor people eat at home O_O There's a really funny part: they'd rather sit on a table outside the restaurant even though it's cold; the tables inside the restaurant are empty. I know, that might be normal to many of you, but not to me
But anyway, they have good food/ The bad part is that they don't have romanian specialties. Romanian food is really the best
* Everyone in paris was soooooo well dressed, they're all like taken from magazines; unfortunately everyone's so cold (read civilized).
* Everything in france is very expensive, especially the drinks. I've paid 3E for a 0.5 bottle of water which in romania costs less than 0.5E.
* Now there's a really bad one: french people only speak french. Period. Even Louvre's painting descriptions are in french only.
As general impression I didn't find Paris very romantic (maybe because I didn't visit it during summer, but most likely because I'm not a romantic person lol ) though I've found it very inspiring. My best memories of paris are definitely the Aquarium (I couldn't miss seeing it), the large paintings and.... how I've got hypothermia waiting for 2 hours in line to get to the top of the Eiffel tower and when I got there I couldn't enjoy the view; all I was thinking about was how to get down again

Guess what? I'm leaving for Paris tomorrow for 2 weeks so I won't be around all this time (not that I'm usually deviating much). I can't wait to get there, though I've heard that it will rain all the time. If I'm not coming back on DA after these 2 weeks it probably means either that the plane crashed and I died, either that I was arrested on the suspicion of being a terrorist - something will go wrong, I can feel it <_<
